TCP and UDP ports are the ports that we will scan.

TCP​

  • Connection-oriented
  • For app that require high reliability (HTTP, FTP, Telnet)
  • Three-way handshake

wireshark​

UDP​

  • Connection less
  • For app that need fast connection (DNS, DHCP, SNMP)
  • No Handshake
